FAQ
What is the in-hand salary for 10 lakh CTC?
About ₹73,125 a month under the new regime with no income tax, after EPF and professional tax.
Up to what salary is there no income tax in FY 2026-27?
Under the new regime, taxable income up to ₹12 lakh is tax-free because of the rebate, so a salary up to ₹12.75 lakh (after the ₹75,000 standard deduction) pays no income tax.
Why is in-hand salary lower than CTC divided by 12?
CTC includes the employer EPF contribution, and your own EPF, professional tax and income tax are deducted before salary reaches your bank.
